Shounak Roy from St. Lawrence High School, Kolkata is one of the 18 recipients of the “Telegraph Online Edugraph 18 under 18 Award” for the year 2024 under the Age Group of 18 years amongst the Students participating from different Schools from all over Eastern India including West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. The Award Ceremony was held at the auditorium of South City International School, Kolkata on 24.01.2024. The event was graced by eminent author, educator and Padma Bhushan awardee, Mrs. Sudha Murty, as the Chief Guest and Shri Aveek Sarkar, the present Chairman of Press Trust of India and Vice Chairman and Editor Emeritus of ABP Group, in the presence of eminent academicians and educators. “Over 2,500 nominations were received for The Telegraph Online 18 under 18 awards from over 350 schools across Eastern India.
